Personal Experience In My Life

 Assalamualaikum,

    The topic that will be talked in this entry is personal experience. As a human being, all of us have many experiences in our lives. Whether it's a good or bad one, I'm sure experiences have taught us many things. I have few unforgettable experiences during my life in Form 6. 

    One of it was Canteen Day SMK Sultan Ibrahim, Kulai. A month prior to the day of event, our unit Scouts 1 held a small election to vote for the mainboard of Canteen Day. Unexpectedly, I was elected to be the Chairman for the project. I've never thought of getting the position as I like to follow rather than to lead. Nonetheless, I thanked everyone who voted for me and promised to be a good leader for the project. 

    Without further ado, as soon as the election ended we started to discuss about foods and drinks that we want to sell during the event. As the discussion conclude, we decided to sell Malaysian's favourite drink "Cendol" as our main item, ice cream, spicy korean noodles and many more. We had decided that our theme would be Malaysia-South Korea as we served to dish from two countries. We also discussed about how we want to decorate our booth so that we can win the most decorated booth. 

    A week after that, the financial controller started to collect fees for all cost involved in realizing the project. Alhamdulillah, everything went smooth according to our plan prior to the event. Each of departments also have gave many dedication towards the project. 

    The day that we await have finally arrived. The most nervous person that day would be me as I've never be the chairman of school canteen project. I arrived early to the school, as early as 7.15 am. Together, we decorated our booth according to our theme. Then, the excitement began. We managed to get many customers during the event. We are also the only booth that sell "Cendol". So, it was really an attraction and the tank was empty within 1 hour. Fortunately, we brought a lot more item so we can refill it. It was really an unforgettable memory for me. We also wanted to try something unique. So, we brought together the items that we sell and walk around while promoting it. 

    After being tired selling our foods and drink, it's time for me to stroll around looking at other people booth. I've bought other club's food and drink to support them. There was also other attraction that was held such as paintball, ghost house and gaming station. 

    The event had come to the end. I was so sad because it was really exciting moment. I never thought that being chairman is fun. I can socialize more with people as I'm at the center of the project along with the advisor teacher. To finish it up, we took a picture together to commemorate the end of the project. 

    All in all, I expressed my gratitude towards my advisor teacher for giving me useful tips to be a good leader. I also expressed my gratitude towards my crew members. Without their help, I'm sure I could never done it better.

 Assalamualaikum w.b.t.  This chapter was written to display my project together with the process of doing it.  Thread : 7/12/2020 : Brother Sobri gave a short briefing about the 2nd assessment that we need to do which is making a video/poster. Reflection Towards Project

 Assalamualaikum w.b.t           After merely 2 weeks of doing the second assessment which if making a poster, I manage to reflect upon myself while doing the project.           First of all, I can see that I'm quite okay with using complex editing software. The reason why I said it because I was able to edit the poster within a short time. I don't need to look for tutorial on internet on how to use Adobe Lightroom Pro and Adobe Photoshop. As we all know, Adobe Photoshop is complicated and you need to learn the basic first. If not, you will be in a blank and don't know what should you click to. I can determine quickly which button should I click to and which preset should I use for the poster. It is quite amazing for me because I rarely use those application except for study.
